First, plug-in the ADSTech VideoXpress USB device, turn it on and go to Start > Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Device Manager. Locate the device in the Sound Video and Game controllers or Universal Serial Bus controllers lists, right-click on its driver, select Uninstall and follow the provided instructions. After that, unplug the device, enter VideoXpress disc in the CD-Rom drive and reinstall the software. Next, plug in the device and press Scan for hardware changes icon from Device Manager. Windows should automatically recognize the device. Also, update your video card drivers and install the latest version of DirectX. If the problem persists, run the Fix It utility provided by Microsoft. It is developed to fix all major USB devices related issues.
