Screen resolution and bit varies while every start

Question

Have Win amp 5.541. Using Windows XP Professional Service Pack 3. Updated to IE 8 Beta 2 and Mozilla Firefox 3.1 Beta 1. Bit rate changes to 8 bits from32 and screen resolution to 800 by 480 from 1024 by 768 even while installing, works normally in my daughters' accounts. Can't solve and how can i solve?
