The simplest and fastest way to resolve the problem with the update is to reinstall the software. Uninstall the version that you already have installed on you computer (open the Control Panel and go to Uninstall a program > search there for HiChatter Messenger, right click on it and press uninstall). After the process is over, visit the official webpage of HiChatter Messenger and download it directly from there. After the download is complete, open the setup file and install it again.
