If you were told about the software's automatic update, then it means the process should start automatically. However, to force an update for the application, access the settings menu and then check to set it for automatic update. Alternatively, go to Help > Check for updates. This will force the application to check for new items on the download server. If there is no response, access the website and log-in then you will have the possibility to download newest updated software.
