I'm running an Intel processor and it keeps taking me to AMD page for updates. Why?
AMD bought ATI a while ago. And you want an update for your AMD/ATI-Graphics card - not for your CPU, don't you?
It takes you to AMD web page, because you want to update your graphic card developed by ATI/AMD. In 2006, ATI Technologies has been acquired by AMD and all its products are now supported by the new company. Therefore you will need to install the latest updates from AMD website. If you need to update an Intel product, I suggest you use Intel Driver Update Utility.
