Media Player Сlassic along with FFDShow is a good solution for HD playback with top quality settings. But if you prefer using a predefined application which embeds all the settings into one simple interface, then Splash PRO is right for the job.

Which version of Windows are you using?
Since many experienced users here, I'm sure there must be someone clear what I'm talking about next. Macgo blu-ray Player is kind of Blu-ray player software which would play both Blu Ray discs and regular DVDs well on a 1080p set.
BTW, it is a licensed product.
