The Grand Theft Auto: Vice City PC error upon starting

When I start Grand Theft Auto: Vice City on my laptop, the error message that is shown below appears: "Grand Theft Auto: Vice City can't start. Not enough video memory". What should I do?

Please find GTA Vice City User files and delete the file with the .set extension and then start the game. The error shouldn't appear anymore. You will have to re-configure video settings and controls upon deleting this file.
