Is it wise to remove Keybar 1.12 from my Chrome browser?

Yes, you can since the application is not functionality dependent, meaning that if you remove it, the Chrome browser will work the same.

Please go to Chrome Menu > Tools > Extensions and click the BIN next to the Keybar Toolbar. Restart the browser and the toolbar will be removed. This is the simplest process available and it does remove the toolbar fast and easy because the toolbar is not rogue or malware related.

It kinda is malware related, though. It's a known browser hijacker. Just get rid of it. You really don't want that on your computer.
