I have a Canon MG3200 which works perfectly well printing text but is lousy at printing photographs. The prints are washed out with poor colour. Is there any way to enhance the pictures?

This seems to be the case where the printing cartridges are overused or you don't have enough color in the cartridges. The first thing to do is to check the ink level of the cartridges and perform a refill. After this operation, try to do to a test print using the software available for the printer to check if the printer prints correctly. If you still have the same output quality you might need to completely replace the cartridges or take the device to professional service repair.
