There is a possibility that the CD is scratched and you receive an error related to reading the package. In this case you will need to download a new copy of the software. Click on the corresponding operating system and download the full package. If you have an operating system greater than XP, make sure you use Run as Administrator and close all background applications that may interfere with the installation progress.
