Since you cannot obtain a recovery disc you will need to make use of the recovery option that is available for these types of laptops. Turn on the laptop and press the recovery button which is F11 for HP laptops and follow the on-screen instructions. The recovery is located in a hidden partition which can only be accessed through the F11 button.
