I have a display problem

There is a straight line (white line) on my desktop. What should be done for it? Please help me solve it!

There could be three reasons for this to happen:

1. You videocard is dying and it needs replacing or service repairing.
2. There is an application which is wrongly displaying its items.
3. You have a game that it's locked.

In all three cases, please restart your computer in Safe Mode with all the applications closed and loaded with only minimum drivers. If the line still exists, it's from the videocard or your display hardware.

You will need to call a technician to solve the problem.
