When I use Instagram on Bluestacks, it always crashes. What should I do?

This is rather a problem of compatibility between Instagram and Bluestacks. The application has been tested and indeed it crashes without any notification. If you want to upload photos to Instagram, please use Gramblr. It's an online service which uses pictures from your computer and uploads them to Instagram via a web interface.

Actually Bluestacks works great with Instagram. I use it over Gramblr because you can use the filters and tagging system easily with it as if you were on your mobile phone.

If it keeps crashing don't just close and restart it. Go into task manager and end task on all it's processors then start it up again and it should be good. I used it for a bit. Then it started crashing. I did the above and hasn't crashed since.

I'm using Windows 8.1, 64 bit machine, Asus 97a, intel i7-4790 with 16gb 1600.

Do not use gramblr. It has been reported by many people to destroy the hashtags on their accounts. People are having to create new Instagram accounts because their hashtags are no longer searchable.
