Errorcode 3 in Indesign 5.5.

Question

I cannot open the file because it's damaged, according to the message I get on my screen. Is there a solution? I worked so hard on this document...Already tried to export and save as interchange doc. but I cannot open or export it.

Indesign Error Code 3 error codes are often caused by missing system files inside the Microsoft Windows OS. Try opening your document as a copy. In order to do that, open Adobe InDesign, go to File, Open and choose Open as a copy. Another solution is to perform a system restore. Choose Start from your taskbar, select All programs, Accessories, System Tools and System Restore. Mark the Restore my computer to an earlier date, hit Next, select a restore date and follow the instructions.
