I attempted to access a website and a message came up saying that it was a threat and directed me to upgrade and make a purchase of Avast.

On another occasion, I got into the site and everything seems to be OK until I save a video clip. I cannot see my files using Internet Explorer even if I use the unhide file option in the properties section. I have run antivirus online from Microsoft and Malwarebytes and everything says my computer is clean.

I know the files have been saved and if I use the "Save as" option, I can see the file. Only newly created video clips (AVC extension) files associated with this site are not being seen, but I can create a general Word document and see it when it's saved. How can I fix this? I want to see all video files.

Many audio/video players use the Temporary folder before transcribing the file to the correct extensions (AVC) so the best bet is to check for that folder in order to access your videos (Go to Start > Run > type %temp%). Also, when you use the Save As option, you can also choose the destination for your videos.
