How to take a screenshot on an Android 2.3.4?

I don't want to install an app, root my phone, or download stuff to my computer. I've tried Home + Power button, Power + Menu, and Power + Back.

Some developers choose to remove this feature from their ROM and only way of taking a screenshot remains that you install a special application.
