This phone is pretty limited in movie playback. Although it supports additional external storage where you can store your files, you will need to convert the movie files to a supported extension which will gradually decrease its quality.

I'm new to my Nokia 2700. I've added some personal movies files from PC to the phone for playback on the go. As the Nokia 2700 supported video format is limited, before transferring MKV, AVI, WMV, VOB files to my phone, I had to batch convert those files with Brorsoft's Video Converter. What made me satisfied, this video convert app brings me HD output video quality(least quality loss during the conversion), and it never fails.

I also used Brorsoft Video Converter to transcode my videos. It works great.
