Since Google Translate does not have full support for this language, you will need to use additional translation services available on the web, but in order to use this you also need to have Myanmar fonts installed on your computer because if you translate something without the fonts installed, you will only see empty squares instead of the characters.

To install a font, download it to a location of choice then go to Start > Run > fonts. Wait for folder to appear then drag the Myanmar font into the Fonts folder.

Dear colleagues,

I am pleased to say that we have successfully implemented the National Minimum Wage of RM900. Hopefully your JCC representatives and our junior and senior supervisors have managed to clarify all of your questions. One question that we have not been able to address until now is the whether individuals would be allowed to opt out of the company provided hostels if their landlord charged less than the RM125 deduction for hostel cost. The RM125 is the average cost for hostels, some cost less but others cost more. If we allow only those staying in lower cost hostels to ‘opt out’ then it will increase the cost for everyone else and we do not believe this would be fair. Having considered the points raised we have decided that employees will continue to stay at company allocated hostels. We have also been asked why some people getting a lower basic salary will receive a higher increment than some of those on a higher basic salary. The reason is that the lower an employees’ salary then the higher the increment needed to bring in line with the RM900 minimum wage. We have ensured that the vast majority of employees will receive an increment of 5%; which is more than double the current rate of inflation. We plan to move to an annual salary review in which salary reviews will be made to coincide with our financial year which runs 1st January to 31st December. As such the next salary review will take place in November/December next year and will come effect from January 1st 2015.
