I have an electrical piece of test equipment that is running on 32-bit version of Windows. How can I make it run on a 64-bit OS?

In some cases a 32-bit version of a program works well in a 64-one. If you're using Windows XP, this case does not apply, but if the application is accessed in a Windows 7 environment then it's possible that it will work. In both cases, you should obtain a 64-bit version of the software for maximum compatibility.
