I need a Bluetooth adapter that is fully compatible with Windows 8. I bought a SMK model and it doesn't work. It's a VP6495 model.

The Stack disables the Windows native driver and nothing works and I have to uninstall it to get the Bluetooth icon back. The adapter on its own does not work in the right way and when it does, has a limited menu of Bluetooth options.

The Nano dongle works fine in Windows 7 and 8 but for this to happen you need to download the latest version of the software. Make sure you run the setup package as Administrator.
