Whenever I open the application it shows a message that there is a problem with the video memory. What can I do?

There are two ways to solve the problem:

  1. Go to My Documents > GTA Vice City User Files and delete gta_vc.set file then set compatibility mode to Windows XP to gta_vc.exe. After you enter the game, configure the video settings as you like.

  2. System screen (press Windows key+pause/break) > Advanced System Settings> Performance Settings > Enable Data Execution Prevention click add, then add gta-vc.exe
