I believe it's possible but it involves some coding for this to work. I have read some information on Parallax website and it seems they are capable of offering tools for this job. I see they're using STAMP technology among RFID support. Please consult the website and their products. This isn't an "install and play" operation as you will need to dive deep into coding and how data streams over the RFID signals to control MP3 players.
