PTZ function questions

just installed and trying to use the PTZ functions. all 8 direction arrows are self explanatory, but what is the middle button for? it has a symbol like a reload circular arrow in it and when pressed, the camera does a strange range of motions that seems to have no pattern. Also, is there a way that allows the camera to scan through the presets you've set up?

The middle button with the circular arrow symbol is typically used for performing an "auto-pan" or automatic tour function, which allows the camera to execute a preset pattern of movements. This may involve the camera moving through a range of motions automatically, which can appear random if it hasn't been set up with specific waypoints or patterns yet.

As for scanning through presets you've set up, many PTZ (Pan-Tilt-Zoom) cameras offer a feature called "tour" or "patrol," which allows you to set up a series of preset positions and have the camera move between them automatically. You'll need to configure these settings in the camera's application or interface. Be sure to check the user manual or the help section of the HiP2P Client software for guidance on setting up tours or patrols with your specific camera model.

thank you very much for getting back to me so quickly. I appreciate the info you've given me about the PTZ controls.

I just set up my 2nd camera on the Hi IPCamera Client, PC app, I can't figure out how to switch directly from one cam to the other. So far, I've had to go to the multi cam button, which brings up a four cam screen, then pick the other cam from it. There's got to be a way to go directly from one cam to another. Any thoughts?

Another question about the Hi P2P client software for PC. How do you move the various cam to different locations when in the multi cam views so they are in a different segment of hte entire screen?
