Is ancient version of .Net still required to install v4.6 on Windows 11?

I have used Memeo Premium Backup since 2010. In 2022 I Installed a new version on Windows 10 and it required loading an ancient version of .Net!! It seemed to run OK, but when I tried to install it on Windows 11 it caused some OS issues so I uninstalled Memeo and rebuilt the OS to get my other apps to work! I liked the basic Memeo capability but couldn't stand the side effects!!
