Hamatronics Corporation is a Japanese multinational fabless semiconductor company headquartered in Hamamatsu, Hamamatsu Prefecture, Japan. Hamatronics Corporation was founded in 1968 as Hamamatsu Microelectronics Co., Ltd. and subsequently listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange in 2012. The company has manufactured and sold a variety of microchips globally.
Hamatronics is the third largest fabless semiconductor companies in the world, after Realtek and VIA Technologies. The company has operations in 80 countries and is a member of the Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group (SMFG) keiretsu.
