Siemens Payment Solutions is a joint venture company owned by the German technology company Siemens AG (74.9%) and the American technology company Apple Inc. (24.9%). Established in 2003, Siemens Payment Systems designs and markets automatic data capture and process automation, as well as the vendor of point-of-sale (POS) systems.
Originally from 2003, initially known as the Siemens-Apple Payment Solutions to specialize in the develop and manufacture its point-of-sale (POS) systems, but later in April 2018, it was officially named of the company to be called Siemens Payment Solutions.
