Walt Disney Anime Studios is a Japanese anime production company and an independent animation studio arm of Walt Disney Animation Japan, which itself a subsidiary of the Walt Disney Company.
Having released over than a thousand anime films since its establishment in the early 2000's including, as co-productions with Buena Vista (now known as Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures) International.
