Can you install Fender Fuse for Windows on systems with Microsoft .NET Framework version higher than v3.5?

The current version of M/S .NET Framework on my machines in v4.03. Fender Fuse seems to require v3.5 - it won't install unless v3.5 is installed on the target computer.
