You can find all the necessary settings by visiting configuration menus. You can disable it as a service and then start it back using the same settings. Or you could use the Startup feature (Start > Run > type msconfig and go to Startup tab). From that location, uncheck the item corresponding to your application and next time you will start the computer, the program will not run anymore.
