Many files that I have contain more than 1 instrument; for example, 2, 3 or 4 instruments. How do I separate instruments so that I can focus on only the piano or other instrument part?

User Question: How do I separate instruments in Piano From Above to focus on only one instrument?

Answer: In order to select only one instrument in Piano From Above, you can try the following steps:

  1. Open the desired file containing multiple instruments in Piano From Above.
  2. Look for the channel settings panel in the software interface.
  3. In the channel settings panel, you should see a list of all the instruments in the file.
  4. Locate the instrument you want to focus on, such as the piano or any other specific instrument part.
  5. Click on that instrument in the list to select it.
  6. Once selected, you can now focus on and work with only the chosen instrument, muting or adjusting the other instrument parts as needed.

Please note that the specific steps may vary slightly depending on the version and settings of Piano From Above, but generally, this should help you separate and focus on a particular instrument in the program.
