How to make a still photo from a video shot on an iPhone?

I want to make a still photo from a video shot taken with my iPhone 3G - I had the wrong setting on the camera. How can I do that?

How did you "take a video shot"? (Standard Camera app cannot capture video on 3G.) Depending on this, I will provide you the answer.

The answer by Iulia Apreotesei is not good, because you'll get a screenshot size = 320x480, instead of actual video size.

Please browse to the App Store from your phone and install StillShot. The application easily takes a snap of the video currently playing or recording.
