Whenever i try to install a Canon printer driver for Windows 8 (it possibly to work with 32-bit version) and i got a message when i clicked on the inf file to open:

"The folder you specified doesn't contain a compatible software driver for your drive. If the folder contains a driver, make sure it is designed to work with Windows for x64-based systems."

Any suggestions? The 32-bit version didn't use to install a printer driver for Windows 8 but i do have a 64-bit version to install a driver, or the printer driver should not be able to work with 32-bit version of Windows 8?

The issue is likely due to compatibility between the printer driver and the 32-bit version of Windows 8. As suggested, try installing the printer driver designed for the 64-bit version of Windows 8, as it should be compatible. If that doesn't work, consider contacting Canon support for further assistance.
