Audiolava Can't save recordings to disk

Windows 10, installed the software delivered on mini-cd with Cassette Digital Converter device. I tested the recording from cassette (fine), get to save to disk screen but it won't save.
I tried changing directories, disks, titles... to no avail. What could be the problem?
