How do I put buttons on a slide in PowerPoint 2003 that will reveal text boxes when clicked?

I'm expecting I may need to use a Visual Basic macro, which I've never done before.

Powerpoint does not have such feature but you can use Slideshow Settings > Action from where you can customize some of the available feature when you put the mouse over the item.
