Can you play Minecraft game to work with Windows Server 2008 R2 operating system? I have used for HP ProLiant server and bought from the amazon, but the game is not compatible with windows server operating systems.

No, Minecraft is not compatible with Windows Server operating systems. It can only be played on Windows 7 or later versions for PCs.
