Have 7.8 on CorelDraw 8 had to upgrade computer cannot get 7.8 to work in CorelDraw x6

Have Roland Cad Color PC60 cutter which operated from Windows 98, CorelDraw 8 and Drawmate 7.8. cannot get CorelDraw 16, Drawmate and cutter to associate
