My laptop gives weird noises which indicate that the heat is very high, but while playing a game the noise becomes so hard that laptop shuts down.

It is the cooler's fault for the shutdown process. While you're playing games, the CPU and the GPU gain more heat which needs to cool down and since the cooler is faulty all the heat dissipates to a much lower rate than using a good working cooler. You will need to take the laptop to a service shop and ask for a technician to take a look at it because if you continue to keep using it like this, the laptop will become more and more unresponsive.

Here is an Tips for you:

Speeding up your fan might be the solution to an overheating laptop. If you’re using a Windows laptop, you may be able to increase the fan speed to full capacity via the Control Panel. Not all have support for this, but for those that do, simply follow these steps:

Go to Control Panel, click on Hardware and Sound, and choose Power Options.
A new window will pop up. Click on Change Plan Settings and then Change Advanced Power Settings. The Power Options dialog box will appear.
On the Advanced Settings tab. If you see a Processor Power Management option, click on the “+” symbol beside it to open up a submenu.
Select System Cooling Policy from the submenu.
Select Active on both On Battery and Plugged-in. This will increase the CPU’s cooling fan speed.
Click Apply and then OK.

If it possible let me know what exactly model you currently use? For gaming and heavy work like programming and video editing I personally prefer this asus this series: https://mcsolution.com.bd/laptop/asus/rog-zephyrus/g14/

which is comes with Ryzen 7 5800HS and GeForce RTX 3050, which is enough to run any games or doing any work smoothly. Hope my contribution will help you.
