My computer won't let me open it as it cannot verify that it does not contain malware, how do I override this issue?

macOS cannot verify tat the app is free from malware. it wants me to move the application to the bin. How do I overcome this issue?

The best way to overcome this issue is to open the System Preferences and go to Security & Privacy. From there, you should be able to allow the application to open by clicking the "Open Anyway" button.
