How to reinstall the quick menu for my canon pixma mx472?

when attempting to open my canon quick menu, a window pops up saying the quick menu is installed incorrectly. I have been using this quick menu on this computer for years. tried to reinstall via internet but there is no scan capability on this newly installed menu.

You can try uninstalling the current Quick Menu and downloading the latest version from the Canon website. If the issue persists, you may need to contact Canon customer support for further assistance.
