hi
I am Hans Park, CTO of H-Tech in South Korea.
H-tech is a subcontractor specializing in development.
H-tech has developed an ID recognition device. It is sold at the vendor.
In this new project, we want to upgrade the free algorithm to the paid algorithm to increase accuracy.
We have contacted you to resolve this, and we have a few questions for our new development project as below.

  • Main specifications for new development projects
  1. Using a scan device using a USB camera (developed by H-Tech)
  2. Scanned (photographed) images are supported in the form of LOW DATA
  3. Camera image resolution FHD level (about 440DPI or higher)
  4. Recognition of Korean ID cards in 18 different fields and checking considerations
  5. Requires recognition of Korean and English
  6. Request to support OCR algorithm in the form of a library (data sending/receiving via API)
  7. It is disconnected from the external network for security reasons.
  8. PC Specifications:

    • WIN10 or higher
    • Intel Core i5 (1.6Ghz) or higher
    • 4GB DDR4
  9. Image environment: No external light interference, fixed on the device and no shaking, ID position has a gap within 3mm, resolution FHD level (about 440DPI or higher)
  • Technical questions for development
1, Is it possible to support in the form of a library? (API, SDK)
  1. Can you provide the following OCR results?
int CheckOCR(char *image, char *id, char *name, char *date, char *addr,
    Rect id_pos, Rect name_pos, Rect date_pos, Rect addr_pos, int card_type)

    • image: ID image taken
    • id: OCR extracted social security number text
    • name: OCR extracted name text
    • date: OCR extracted issuance date text
    • addr: OCR extracted address text
    • id_pos: sx, sy, ex, ey coordinates of the start and end of the id image
    • name_pos: sx, sy, ex, ey coordinates of the start and end of the image name
    • date_pos: sx, sy, ex, ey coordinates of start and end of date image
    • addr_pos: sx, sy, ex, ey coordinates of the start and end of the addr image
    • card_type: type of identification card
  • Questions for business
  1. We need a quote for the conditions and price for the transaction.
  2. Policy on general technical support and algorithm upgrade.
  3. Technical support policy in case of problems.

Please, we ask for your company's quick response to the above matters,
We also request a formal quote.

If the information is insufficient or if you have any questions, please contact me.
