Intersil modem prism 802.11g wireless adapter (3890)

Question

I am in possession of a Prism 802.11g wireless adapter (3890). This device always worked perfectly until my provider changed the modem. Now the adapter cannot find the modem, probably because of the WPA2-PSK protection settings. Is an upgrade for this device available? If so where can I get this, if not what options do I have?

If you did not perform any update of your operating system then you need to download KB893357 because it adds support for all kinds of WPA2 password encryption versions. Also, your device is more than capable of connecting to WPA2 networks.
