A bridge repeater acts as a multiplier device for other routers. Let's say you have a router with Internet connection 100 meters distance from you and the signal is not so strong. In this case you will use another router in Repeater mode which will gather the signal from the first router and deliver it to you. To test it, simply configure the repeater for DHCP from the first router and then connect to the device. If the Internet works, then you have successfully completed the test.
