I have a new computer with Windows 8 and my American Greetings Spiritual 95/98 won't install. How do I make it work?

I am afraid that the software is too old to run in the new operating system as the architecture of the newly released Windows 8 is completely different from that of Windows 95/98. You could try and set the software to work in compatibility mode but I doubt that will work since Windows 95/98 is prior to Windows XP which reduces compatibility. You will either need to use Windows XP because it can run this application or obtain a new and improved version of American Greetings, one the will work eventually in Windows 7.

I have copied the program from another computer on to a sandisk. I have to keep the cd in though, but I save all may work to the sandisk and work off of that. It seems to work though occasionally the program quits working in the middle of what I am doing. If you save it occasionally you can go back and retrieve it. This can be annoying, but I love this program enough to put up with the inconvenience!
