Error while entering a serial number on my game. Why?

I have installed on my game, but it happend why the wrong version of this game but i cannot activate the license name or key. When pressing the Register button and the application freezes and i get a red message says "The registration information you entered was not vaild.", and following the red message says "Please enter the information exactly as it appeared in your notification." appears. I have installed on my game in Windows 10 but i cannot unlock the game and so i resolve on my serial number?

This application has been unsupported due to some other operating systems such as Windows 10 did not working when your license name and code is not entered. However, this operating system is compatible with Windows XP to support this game. You can also open readme.txt to check your system requirements to see this available for the game.

To enter your serial number for a registered version, you must download another the video game webpage, like Yahoo! Games, to see this available in the registered version.
