How to open a TFF file in version 6.29?

The latest version of MetaWin Viewer (6.29) is not able to open TIF file. It says unsupported file format. We uninstalled and installed old version again we see the same error

It seems that the latest version of MetaWin Viewer (6.29) is unable to open TIF files due to an unsupported file format. Even after reinstalling an older version, the same error persists.
