If I have Acer eDisplay manager that came with my display, can I run Catalyst with Hydravision together or should I uninstall Acer to run Catalyst?

I bought an Acer analog display. Should I run their display manager and Catalyst with Hydra Vision or I need to run one or the other but not both? In other words, would the Catalyst program be the better choice for performance? I have 64bit Windows 7 OS, 4GB RAM, Quad-7 core processor and 1867 GB disk space and the following graphics:

Display adapter type ATI Radeon HD 4550
Total available graphics memory 2271 MB
        Dedicated graphics memory 512 MB
        Dedicated system memory 0 MB
        Shared system memory 1759 MB
  Display adapter driver version 8.970.100.3000
  Primary monitor resolution 1920x1080
  DirectX version DirectX 10

Am I causing a crash running them both?

Please advise.

Well, you have an ATI Radeon graphics card, so yes, it would be better to install their Catalyst drivers because of the performance in the first place and then the stability. Acer eDisplay is another thing which I believe would run perfectly with Catalyst installed.
