Can Oracle IBM DB2 connect to IBM DB2 on mainframe to allow data importing from DB2 to Oracle?

I need to connect to a DB2 on a mainframe in order to import data to Oracle. However, after connecting to both DB2 and Oracle, the application gives an error "Object or provider is not capable of performing requested operation. Run-time error '3251' "

You will need to check the path where the databases are stored. If the path exceeds 128 characters then you will encounter an error when you are trying to import or migrate the databases. Relocate the files to a path with under 128 characters and you should be good to go.
