Where does Fenrir store files on the hard drive?

Fenrir itself shows that the firmware takes up 500 GB of hard disk space. But out of a 1TB disk, 7 GB is free, and this is taking into account the fact that ALL OTHER files and folders take up no more than 50 GB. First, where does the leftover space go if file managers can't see them? Second - how can you free up space that is not occupied by firmware, but is occupied by Fenrir's garbage?
