Version 5 of HOnestech for Mac?

Hi I have a very old version of Honestech VHS to DVD v 5.0 , I still have the dvd and also the "Key" from when I bought it. When I originally bought it, I used Windows but now have MAC - can I still download a copy. Also I assume you can simply create digital files, you don't need to create a DVD, do you?
