AVS4YOU, what exactly is it?

What is AVS4YOU? I bought a tower from a lady whose husband died and this was installed. It says it's not installed but is it worth downloading it?

AVS4YOU is a website which deals with applications used for audio and video conversion and most likely you have a tool from their website installed in your computer. In case you have no plans in converting, then you can remove it safely.

How would I get info how to use it? I am no guru and only know how to get an email facebiotch and search, I never used any of the extra things. Thanks for answering.
